    Biography

    I am an academic and educator in design, with over twenty years experience in higher education settings. I am passionate about design for people and planet, and embed themes of sustainability and ethical practice into curriculum design and delivery. 

    Research interests

    Co-design; creative exchange, knowledge exchange, facilitation and collaboration; participatory design approaches; design thinking; human-centred design; creative and design processes.

    • Working closely with academic colleagues and external agencies and stakeholders to develop our third mission agenda and link the university to local social, economic and cultural priorities including the Lancashire Enterprise Partnership (LEP), Arts Council England (ACE) ‘priority place’ status, Lancashire business growth fund (LBG), and Lancashire’s City Status bid
