    Biography

    Jane joined Edge Hill University in 2017, having been employed previously as Senior Lecturer in Nutrition at the University of Huddersfield and at Kingston University. She has undergraduate degrees in Human Nutrition and Psychology, and a PhD in Nutrition. Before becoming a lecturer, she worked as a researcher on projects about school meals (Quadram Institute Bioscience; Kings College London), improving diet and physical activity (University College London), and oral health-related quality of life (University of Sheffield).  At Edge Hill University she teaches on BSc (Hons) Nutrition and Health and MSc Public Health Nutrition. Jane Chairs the Faculty of Health, Social Care and Medicine undergradutate ethics committee.

    Research interests

    Food and Alcohol Disturbance (FAD), otherwise known as 'Drunkorexia'; food sustainability and consumer willingness to adopt plant-based diets.
