    - Heterodox Economics, particularly non-mainstream and alternative theories about money & finance, non-monetary economics, parallel currencies, digital currencies (including cryptocurrencies & blockchain finance applications), financial technologies – fintech.

    - Sustainable-ecological economics, small production modes, small distribution modes, small markets, economics of the commons, sustainable monetary and financial systems.

    - Theories about value, valuation practices, value chains, value measuring practices, quantitative and qualitative approaches to value.

    - Feminist Economics & Gender aspects of Economics, both on Micro, Macro & International levels.

    - Grassroots economics, grassroots economic structures, decolonial economics, solidarity economics, social economy, cooperatives & recuperated/self-managed enterprises.

    - Non-capitalist economic structures, both in historical & contemporary societies, traditional economies, parallel (capitalist & non-capitalist) economic structures.

    - Economic history, particularly of early capitalist structures, non-capitalist structures purged by or surviving capitalism.

    - Research methods, matrifocal & non-colonial epistemologies, qualitative & quantitative methods appropriate for investigating non-capitalist economies, research ethics, ethics in economics education.
