    Biography

    Fiona Syson is Senior Lecturer in Marketing and teaches on a range of undergraduate and postgraduate modules. Prior to moving into Higher Education she worked for a number of business organisations including a multinational in the electronics sector.

     

    Fiona's research interests are in services and experiential marketing, consumer behaviour and innovation. She obtained her Postgraduate Certificate in Research Degree Supervision in 2010. She has published on innovation, services marketing and co-production.

     

    Fiona's teaching interests range across Retail Marketing, Services Marketing with a specific interest in International and Global Marketing. 

     

    Fiona has been a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing since 1992, becoming a Fellow in 2007.

     

    Fiona is currently working towards her EdD with a specific focus on student co-production of the Higher Education product.
