Biography
Fiona Davies is a Lecturer in Law in the School of Law and Criminal Justice, Edge Hill University.
Fiona is currently completing her PhD at the University of Sheffield School of Law which was funded by the Doctoral Academy Scholarship.
Research
Fiona's PhD thesis focuses on international criminal law and its application to the use of advanced technologies such as autonomous weapon systems. More specifically, Fiona's thesis examines the doctrine of command responsibility to understand how military commanders can be held responsible for the use of autonomous weapon systems.
