Biography
Emma recently joined Edge Hill as a Primary English lecturer. She has over 20 years of experience teaching in various primary schools in the Oldham borough in both key stages. Additionally, she served in the senior leadership team as both a deputy headteacher and headteacher. Emma has been a subject leader for English, PSHE, Science, PE and curriculum. Additionally, she has taken on responsibilities as the Pupil Premium lead and designated safeguarding officer in school.
Teaching
Emma teaches on Undergraduate and PGCE programmes and is one of the module leads for the English programme at Edge Hill. In addition, Emma is a tutor for students on the BA Undergraduate programme at Edge Hill and the PGCE students at Holy Cross.
