    Biography

    Claire has worked extensively within sport coaching and sports development across both elite and community environmnets. Working for organisations such as Birmingham FA and the Manchester United Foundation, Claire has written and develivered several football coaching and leadership programmes aimed at upskilling coaches. 

    Claire is a Senior Lecturer in PE and Physical Activity and teaches on a number of modules on the BA(Hons) Physical Educaiton and School Sport programme.

    Research interests

    Claire's research interests lie in the coaching process, the use of performance analysis by coaches and coach development. Claire is currently in the process of completing her PhD at Chester University. Her PhD focuses on the use of performance analysis within the coaching process in football. 

    Teaching

    Claire teaches on several practical teaching / coaching modules on the BA(Hons) Physical Education and School Sport.
