    Biography

    I am a Professor of Musculoskeletal Research at Edge Hill University. I have significant research experience, using a variety of research designs, and have supervised and collaborated with a wide range of colleagues nationally and internationally.

    I have published over 110 peer-reviewed papers and have contributed over £7 million pounds of research grant capture, including almost £3 million as lead applicant. I was previously a member and then chair of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy’s Scientific panel (2017 to 2022). In 2022 I was awarded an honorary fellowship of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy in recognition of my contribution to research and clinical-academic career development.
