Mrs CHERYL RAINGER

Currently, I teach at Edge Hill University on the Department of Primary & Childhood Education (DPEC) programme, where I am a senior lecturer on the primary maths team.

I graduated in 2013 from the University of Central Lancashire with a BA (Hons) degree in Children, Schools and Families.  I then completed my Early Years PGCE with QTS at Edge Hill University. I was then awarded a teaching role at a school in Wigan. It is here where I found my passion for mathematical pedagogy and embarked on 6 years of CPD within the area of mathematics. This enabled me to work with professionals from NCETM and NW Maths hub where I was awarded Professional Development Leader in Mathematics.
