    Biography

    Prior to joining Edge Hill, Bob worked as a primary school teacher for fifteen years, predominantly in Key Stage 2. Bob has worked as a subject coordinator in computing and English as well as spending a number of years as part of a school leadership team. 

    Bob joined Edge Hill in the role of Senior Lecturer in Primary Education with a specific resposibility for the subject of Art and Design. He has also spent time as the joint Leader of the Foundation Subjects.
    Since joining Edge Hill University, Bob has also undertaken the role of Programme Leader for the BA(Hons) Primary Education with QTS programme and more recentlly as the Strategic Lead for Primary Undergraduate with QTS.

    Teaching

    Bob teaches across all programmes spanning Level 4-level 7 at Edge Hill including the BA (Hons) Primary Education and Primary PGCE. Bob's teaching currently incorporates primary art and design, English and the foundation subjects in general. 

    Bob has also been responsible for module leadership for some foundation subject modules on the BA (Hons) Primary Education undergraduates programmes.
