Biography
Hello,
My name is Amy and I am a Senior Lecturer at Edgehill university. I am part of the medical school and teach across the Advanced Clinical Practice programme.
I really enjoy teaching students and providing the knowledge and skills for future practitioners.
I am a registered nurse and qualified from Edgehill in 2011. I have been fortunate enough to experience many working environments such as Emergency care, ICU and Frailty (community and secondary care).
I worked my way up through the NHS banding system until I commenced the Advanced Clinical Practice programme and successfully qualified.. Again at Edgehill! My overall working background is Frailty and I lead on HEA 4266 (Management of Frailty) as well as HEA 4272 (Management of balance and dizziness).
I am the link for the medical school on the Service user and carer council and have a special interest in patient safety.
