Research interests

My research focuses on understanding the role of uncertainty in the governance of socio-ecological systems. I am particularly interested in techniques for improving observational uncertainties, as well as understanding how SES is shaped by institutions. I am also interested in climate change and how it affects socio-ecological systems. I use social research methods and remote sensing/GIS techniques to address these complex SES issues.
