Organisation profile
The CSR acts as an internationally recognised hub for high quality research and knowledge exchange within the broad sphere of social responsibility and civic engagement.
As a cross-faculty initiative, we understand health, social, and economic inequalities to be intrinsically linked. We promote the use of creative and emerging methodologies in interdisciplinary research to respond innovatively to complex issues and to promote equality and social justice.
We are committed to generating opportunities for cross-sector collaboration and co-operation, and to modelling and sharing good practice. We encourage work with and among practitioners, policy and decision-makers, professionals working in a multiplicity of settings, the not-for-profit sector, health, communities and community activists, across rapidly changing landscapes of the public realm.
Our work is supported by an External Advisory Group and enriched by Visiting Professors and Fellows from higher education and beyond.
