I was competitively selected to participate in the National Civic Impact Accelerator (NCIA) Action Learning Programme, led by the National Co-ordinating Centre for Public Engagement (NCCPE) and funded by Research England (UKRI). The programme brought together selected universities across England to strengthen civic leadership and develop models of place-based transformation.
I led a cross-sector team of Edge Hill University academics and community partners, securing £15,000 across three phases. Through structured action learning, national networking, and locally delivered initiatives, this work strengthened the University’s civic infrastructure and external partnerships.
