Accounting History Review Conference 2022

Activity: EventsParticipating in a conference, workshop, etc.

Description

The 2022 Accounting History Review Conference will continue our exploration of accounting [in] history – the examination of multi-faceted social and institutional contexts through an accounting lens. To underscore our theme, we are delighted to announce that our keynote address will be delivered on 23 June 2022 by Professor Mary O’Sullivan of the Department of History, Economics and Society at the University of Geneva. Professor Sullivan’s research interests include: capital and capitalism; enterprise and industrial history; and, economic and financial history. We are pleased to offer a programme which includes a range of theoretical, empirical, and review papers crossing disciplinary boundaries and engaging with historians in other areas. Accepted papers include a wide spectrum of historically- and theoretically-informed research covering topics from diverse countries and periods extending from the late medieval to the twentieth century. Edge Hill University is proud to welcome researchers from around the globe to this event, which is supported by funding from ICAEW’s Charitable Trusts
